Founder, Lori Pastel, has extensive investment company knowledge and experience. Prior to forming Pastel Fund Services, she held the position of Controller for Private Equity firms in Austin, Associate in the Finance Controller Group at Morgan Stanley, and Senior Fund Accountant at BNY Mellon in New York City.
Lori received a Master of Business Administration degree from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business in New York City and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Jorge E. Flores is a seasoned finance professional with expertise in fund administration and operations management for investment companies. As Director of Operations at Pastel Fund Services, PLLC, he oversees key financial functions, including treasury management, budgeting, and GAAP compliance, while enhancing operational efficiency to meet clients’ financial goals. Before joining Pastel, Jorge spent over 17 years at Bank of New York Mellon, gaining deep experience in client processing, team leadership, and global operations.
Jorge is a passionate traveler who draws inspiration from diverse cultures, architecture, and international cuisine. Balancing his career with health, wellness, and strong family values, he brings a global perspective and commitment to quality in all he does.
